What we do
We coach with our GROW method. It takes a company from an audit to a plan with steps it can achieve with the people and money it has, then supports it as it carries them out. Coaching includes on-site visits and follow-up calls, and ends with an action plan the company owns.
We also coach the person. Owners discover their entrepreneurial style, and managers learn management techniques.

Where we have done this
GIZ MOVE: we audited and coached 42 rice mills in Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire, and trained 28 local coaches.
The Inclusion Engine: the same coaching, used to help companies recruit, keep and promote women and young people.
How to... promote business models for rural youth employment in the agri-food sector
A GIZ how-to paper on finding and promoting business models for young people in rural agri-food value chains. It sets out the five-step approach GIZ developed with Sense (named as Economic Sense) and case studies from Burkina Faso, Kenya, Malawi and Mozambique.
