We design courses, manuals and online modules for adults who run or work in agri-food businesses, for programmes that need training people will use at work.

How we design learning
We design every course with three frameworks, so adults with little time and mixed schooling learn something they use on Monday.
Bloom's taxonomy sets the aim. A course moves learners past remembering rules to applying, checking and making: a food safety course ends with the learner running a check in their own plant, and a business course ends with a costed plan. Bloom's digital taxonomy does the same online, so time on the learning platform, WhatsApp and webinars means searching, testing and building, not only watching.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) shapes delivery: short videos, pictures, practice on site, voice notes in a local language and printed job aids, so people with different literacy, languages and connectivity can all take part.

What participants say
“A flexible, simple way of learning that links theory and practice, with new tools such as Bloom's taxonomy, Padlet, QR codes and Kahoot.”Trainer course, on our learning platform
“I learned blanching techniques, what to do before drying and what to consider afterwards. The course helped me keep the colour of my dried pineapples, and keep proper work sheets.”Dried pineapple course, on our learning platform
“These exercises did not stay abstract. Working on real cases put words, and above all figures, on situations I live every day as a business owner. Break-even, gross and net margin, the weight of fixed costs on whether a company survives: it all means something different when you live it yourself.”Finance course, on our learning platform
What we do
We write curricula, workbooks, factsheets and facilitator manuals, and train trainers to deliver them. One coach reaches a few firms; a trained trainer and a good course reach many more. Training is tied to coaching, so people apply what they learn.
Courses run in person, online or mixed, in English and French. The Sense learning platform prepares people before a workshop and follows up after it, so time together goes to practice. We also build tools people use at work, such as templates, checklists and an AI-assisted risk register.

Where we have done this
Rice Miller Business Academy: a series of business courses for rice millers, with coaching, in Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire.
Enterprise Food Safety Academy: small processors trained in Malawi under IMAGRI.
Fonioforce: fonio processors in Burkina Faso trained in food safety for the local market, by webinar, WhatsApp and the learning platform.
We also wrote a milk collection manual in Eritrea and ran crop masterclasses in Burkina Faso.

Introducing innovative processing technology in the Burkina DryMore project
What the project learned from bringing new cleaning and washing equipment for ginger, fonio and hibiscus into Burkina Faso factories. Covers importing equipment, training operators and next steps for companies and funders.
Recipe book linked to the DryMore products, prepared for the SIAL food trade fair. The file is image-only and 143 MB, so it needs compressing before it goes online.
