Burkina Faso’s dried mango sector is a global success—but its seasonality limits jobs, revenues, and investment. Through the Burkina Dry-More programme, Sense supported the design and early implementation of an off-season processing model, helping agro-processors diversify into new dried products and build a more resilient, inclusive agro-processing sector.

Burkina Faso produces some of West Africa’s best dried mango—but few processors were ready for the demands of EU markets. Sense led export readiness and coaching support, working directly with companies to fix the commercial, operational, and food safety bottlenecks that prevent African processors from scaling into international trade.

CSARIDE set out to modernise Eritrea’s dairy sector through climate-smart innovation. Sense led the value-chain and enterprise workstream—ensuring that gains at farm level translated into safe, marketable dairy products by strengthening processing, quality systems, and commercial linkages from milk to market.
